IGNOU 30th Convocation 2017- Form, Online, Last Date, Fee, Acknowledgement


Every Year Indira Gandhi National Open University organizes the convocation to provide the degree certificates to its students after they complete their respective programmes. Now, it’s the time for IGNOU 30th Convocation and it will be held in the month of Feb or March 2017. The information related to exact date and venues has been not notified yet but it will be published soon by university.

Last date for online registration : N/A

The students will not be able to apply for convocation after the above mentioned date as the online registration will be closed. So, hurry up before it’s late.

Who is Eligible to apply for Ignou Convocation?

In the 30th Convocation 2017, the students who have completed their degree, certificate or Diploma programme in the year Dec-2015/ June-2016 will be awarded their degree and diploma certificates.

It should be noted that the students who have completed the Post Graduate Certificate or Certificate programmes do not need to register themselves for the upcoming convocation.The university will send their Certificates to their physical communication address after the Convocation.

In this convocation, the students who have completed their programmes such as Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Diploma in Dec-2015/ June-2016 are eligible to apply for convocation.

Students can fill up Ignou 30th Convocation Online Registration form at university official website at www.ignou.ac.in. The students have to make the requisite fee payment of Rs.600/- per certificate for which they are going to fill up the convocation form and to receive the certificate either in person or by post.

Also, the students who are pursuing the modular programmes such as MBA, MCA, M.Com, etc need to submit registration fee @ 600/- per certificate. It means if they want all their certificates such as Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and their Degree then they need to submit the total fee of Rs.1200/-.

It is mandatory to obtain all the certificates, if the students has completed more than one module of its respective programme.

Students who are studying in Ignou through its overseas Partner Institutes and PAN African project may contact the at following e-mails to know how they can obtain their Degree/Diploma and submit the fee for it.

The students who may not be invited to attend convocation or those who will not able to collect their certificate on the day of convocation should not be worried about it. Their respective Regional Centre will send their certificate by the registered/speed post.

Whom to contact in case of Online Registration payment failure?

Sometimes, While making fee payment during the process of filling up the IGNOU Online Convocation form, the payment do not submit succesfully or money deducts but no receipt generated due to some technical fault.

In this case, the students should contact the university at following email id : convocation@ignou.ac.in. They need to mention their complete details in the email such as Enrolment No., Programme, Name, Control No., Date of transaction and payment amount.
